When industrial design meets agriculture.Designing a tractor is not just a work of mechanical and hydraulic engineering, and the Fiatagri tractors designed in the years 80s and 90s prove that.Indeed Pininfarina was involved in these projects and the result shows as these tractors were not just aesthetically appealing but were also innovative.

They were in fact the first in history featuring the design of the cabin integrated with the design of the body. Also for the first time the cabin was being offered mounted on silent blocks.The 180-90 was the most powerful of the line, featuring an in line 6 cylinders turbo diesel engine made by FIAT capable of 180 HP and a DT – Double Traction transmission.Enjoy my personal tribute to the Fiatagri 180-90.This tractor was very common in the italian countrysides in the 90’s and has been for me an inspiration since the age of 3. It was the first design I have attempted to draw as a child, and I didn’t know it was a subconscious call to the beauty of Industrial Design.
